2015 Guest Workshop ~ Franklin Habit ~ April 10 - 13 ~ Information

Welcome to the Rochester Knitting Guild

October Program at the Guild ~ Guest Speaker Anne Berk!

Anne Berk was certified as a master knitter by TKGA in 2005, and teaches nationally on subjects from Argyle socks to Zipper insertion in handknits. At the October meeting Anne will present basic concepts of "Annetarsia Knits" ~ her book on all aspects of the intarsia technique including in the round, and garter stitch, and motif design. She will provide demos of her techniques and is bringing garments from the book to show. Village Yarn and Fiber knitters and guild members contributed to Annetarsia Knits and Anne will tell the story of how this came about. It is going to be a very fun and informative meeting. You might want to bring needles and a couple of colors of yarn to knit along with Anne as she demonstrates Annetarsia ~ Hope to see you there Monday, October 13th! Doors open at 6:30, meeting starts at 7:00 at the Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave, Rochester ~
