The Rochester Knitting Guild is proud to present Jared Flood of Brooklyn Tweed!
Jared Flood is a Brooklyn‐based knitwear designer and photographer. His designs for handknitters have been featured in Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits, and Knit 1 magazines, as well as various other print and online publications. brooklyntweed.net is a blog Jared writes where he shares his passion for classic and elegant knitting, especially the design concepts of Elizabeth Zimmermann. His first book, Made in Brooklyn – a collection of hand knitting patterns in natural fibers – was published in August 2009.
Location: The workshops will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, (which is handicap accessible), 249 Highland Avenue, Rochester, just off of South Avenue.
